Before we found out Brooklyn was a girl we were talking names. Tyson said he wanted to name the baby Jimmer after his favorite basketball player. When he found out that one of his old teachers in school was expecting he thought she should name her baby Jimmer. When Tyson was up at Primary Children's this summer we would take him to the balcony so he could be outside. The balcony has a great view of the U. The first time we went up there(we went up there alot during his stay) he decided that he needed to boo at the U since after all we are BYU fans. As you can see we bleed blue and not red at our house. What is new with us since May. Tyson is in the second grade and is doing great. I go in and help every Monday and Friday. Curtis and Connor have started kindergarten and just started they take home reading program. I go in and help in their class on Mondays. I will soon be in there everyday helping. We are hoping that it will turn into a job but we will have to see. Jason is busy working full time, working on cars after work, and doing some djing. Then there is me. I keep busy helping at the school, helping with homework, keeping the house clean and the trying to get the laundry done so I don't get behind.
We are also trying to get a basement done. This has been a project that has lasted a few years. The storage room is done and Tyson's room is almost done. Tyson's room should be done by January if everything goes well. He can't wait to move downstairs. We also have some great and exciting news. We are having a BABY GIRL!!!!! She is due March 24, 2010. It is o.k. if your you mouths just dropped to the ground because mine did when I found out. We thought our family was complete but I guess we were wrong. Hopefully I can keep this up to date better since I'm starting to feel better. 21 weeks of being nauseous is not fun!!! As soon as I figure out how to put a baby ticker on here I will. We also need help with names. We have none!!!

Mother's Day

I had the best Mother's day weekend. Jason decided to take the week off because my baby brother Matt got married on Friday. So I took full advantage of Jason being home. On Monday I went and got my nails done. On Tuesday Jason had to go pick up a washer and dryer for Matt so I sent Curtis and Connor with him. Since they were gone all day I went and got my hair colored and cut. Four hours of just me time it was great!! After I got my hair done my mom and sister-in-law decided we needed pedicures. As we were picking out nail polish I thought I should do something fun and exciting so I went with bright green. You should have seen my mom's face. Wednesday and Thursday I just spent playing with the boys. Then Friday came the big day!! As we walked into the marriage waiting room at the temple I just started to cry. My mom's uncle and aunt from Mesa came up to surprise Matt(Matt lived with them for almost 3 months last summer). When I saw my mom's uncle I thought of my Grandpa that had passed away about seven years ago. I really miss him. I didn't stop crying until the end of the ceremony. The reception was great. Everything was perfect. It was so bright and refreshing. Their colors were black, white, and apple green(the reason for the green nail polish). There were flowers every where. It was nice to see all my old ward members and get to talk to them. It was great because because most of my extended family stayed until the end. It was great seeing my cousins(Shelly, Ashley, April and her two cutest boys ever, Brooke and her little boy, and Melissa) that I haven't seen for years. I hope that we can see each other more often. We got invited to stay up at my Aunt Barbara's house in Portland. Since Jason has a cousin that lives there and we have friends that live we are really thinking about coming up there. Then my wonderful uncle Duane invited us for a week end at his cabin. This one we are going to do because as soon as much uncle announced that he had a herd of elk that eats his grass Jason got really excited. I do have to say I have the best family. On Saturday we did nothing. Tyson had his last soccer game. On Sunday my day started out early. I woke up around four thirty to one of the kids coughing. I didn't really think any of it. If the kids needed something they would come and get me. A few seconds later the bathroom light came on so I got up to see who was up and if they needed something. As I started down the hall I knew what was going on. Poor Tyson was throwing up. So after he was done in the bathroom I went to tuck him back in bed thinking that he had made it to the toilet. I was wrong he threw up all over his bed and on his floor. So there I was cleaning the floor and tearing his bed apart I made the decision that all the kids were going to stay home from church. I know probably not the best decision but I haven't heard a full talk because the kids always need something. So I went to church alone which was nice and I got to hear and actually pay attention to all the talks. After church we made dinner and watched a movie. It was a great day.

Jason spoiled this year about a month ago we were going to Park City to see If I could find me a dress or a skirt for Matt's wedding. I ended up with three new dresses and two new pair of shoes for Mother's day. Thanks babe!! The boys each gave me a cook book that they made in school. My parents gave me a flower pot from the Crandalls green house. My mom also let Jason take home one of the flower arrangements from the wedding since he wanted to give me flowers too. So as you can see I had a great Mother's day weekend.

Finally a new post...

Did you miss me? It seems like life just gets busier and busier for us. Sorry that we don't have any pictures in this post. What have we done? First Jason helped his dad cut down a tree in their backyard. That took up a whole Saturday. The boys loved to watch them to take down the tree. Next Tyson started spring soccer. He has played to two games. The first game was totally nice and warm and the next game we were standing in the rain watching. Don't you just love the spring weather. We are getting ready to plant a garden in our backyard. Because of all the storms I haven't gotten the peas in that I want to grow. I'm hoping that we can get them in this week or it will be to late to plant them. We asked the boys what they wanted to plant and they said corn, squash, and watermelon. About 2 years ago Tyson asked our neighbors, Stan and Stella, if we could grow watermelon. They told Tyson that they have never tried to grow one but they would. So they gave us a watermelon that never made it to our garden, but they planted about two plants that year to see if they could grow it. Now they grow it every year for Tyson. I have the best neighbors!!!

This weekend is General Conference. I love this weekend. I love that I don't have to get dressed on Sunday if I don't want to. Yesterday was busy for us. I had Alisha, that's Matt fiancee, bridal Shower. I want to thank everyone who reads this that came. It was really nice. Alisha, I hope you like the fondue pot!! I'm excited to have her be my sister-in-law!! She is so cute!!!!! I Can't believe that they get married in a month!! We also had the annual Goodrich Easter Egg Hunt. Jason took the boys to it since I was at the shower. Don't I have the best husband? The boys came home with enough candy that the Easter Bunny doesn't have to bring them any. They were excited to tell me all about it. Thank you Aunt Cindy, Uncle Jan, Janson, Kayla, MarLyn, and Janae. My boys look forward to it all year. Thanks for inviting us every year. You guys are the greatest!!(I asked Jason to take the camera to the Easter egg hunt so we could get some pictures but trying to help the twins he didn't get any. I totally understand why. Some hopefully we can get pictures next Sunday.)

Spring break starts on the 13th I hope that it is good weather so the boys can enjoy being outside. Hopefully we can do something fun while the boys are out of school. I want warm weather so I can get my rollerblades on start getting back in shape.

My Valentine

I have seen several of these tags on other blogs.

1. I told him that he would have to ask Tyson. I didn't think Tyson would want to go because he is more of I don't want to get dirty type of person and he doesn't like loud noises. Jason asked Tyson if he wanted to go with him. Tyson said yes. I was happy becasue ever since we had the twins Tyson doesn't get much one on one time with Jason. Jason was thrilled. If you know Jason he loves to be in the outdoors weather it is hunting, shooting, fishing, or just taking his truck off roading. So Saturday afternoon they headed out to the West desert. They stopped by Walmart to get some Ammo and some beer. Jason told Tyson that the only good reason to buy beer is for shooting because they explode. They also stopped by Subway to get sandwiches. They had a blast. Jason taught Tyson about Gun safety and how to shoot at targets. Their targets included beer cans, empty pop cans. and frozen water bottles. Tyson can't wait to go again.

Dad and Tyson going over gun safety.

Jason helping Tyson line up his target.

Getting ready to shoot

Getting ready to shoot

Tyson hit his target.

Christmas through New Years

Wow, since it has been awhile I thought it was about time to post about our Christmas and New Year. Tyson got to decorate gingerbread houses again this year at School. I got to go in and help. I think that is one of my favorite things to do with him and his Class. I'm grateful that my dad is willing to watch Curtis and Connor so I can go help in Tyson's class. Also at Tyson's School they have a Christmas program where all the grades sing Christmas songs. They do one it the morning and one in the afternoon. I decided to go to the afternoon one so I could here my nephew Daniel sing. Tyson did a great job his grade sang two songs. The Songs were Must be Santa and Deck the Malls. All the kids did a great job. For Christmas Eve we went over to my parents. My parents always have a little party for the grand kids that include a visit from one Santa's helpers that have a couple of little presents for them. This year our Santa helper couldn't make it because he had double knee replacement. We sure did miss him and hopefully he will be there next year. All the kids were disappointed that "Santa" couldn't make it this year. My parents decided that they still got the presents. All the grand kids got new PJ's. I love this tradition because it reminds me off all the Christmas parties that my grandma and grandpa Prestwich would have. After the party it was time to go home and watch a Christmas movie. We usually watch the Polar Express but I wasn't in the mood. So we watched the Santa Clause. After the movie was over and the boys were asleep it was time for me and Jason to get busy. On Christmas Morning the twins woke up way to early and we told them to go back to bed. Finally around seven we told them to go get Tyson up. The boys got clothes, transformers and legos. Jason got Guitar Hero. I got a laundry sorter. Jason and I(mostly it was for me) got a kitchen aid mixer from my parents. I was totally excited. After we got our Christmas presents opened and we were dressed we headed over to Jason's parents for Christmas Breakfast. This is a tradition that started when Jason was kid. He would go to his Grandma and Grandpa Hunter's for breakfast with all of the family. I did get to go the year before his Grandma died. I couldn't believe that almost all the family came. After we had opened our presents there we headed home. The rest of the day was spent play the Wii. Uncle Matt came up and played with us for awhile. Tyson really liked having Uncle Matt to play with him. For dinner he headed to Mi Ranchito. I know that sounds crazy that we go there but we do. We usually get it to go because the boys are into playing with their toys and they don't want to stop playing.

For New Years we went over to Jason's parents to play games. We stayed tere until about 10 then headed home because we were tired. Tyson decided that he wanted to stay up until midnight. He some how convinced Lindsey to stay up with him. So him and Lindsey watched Return to Neverland until midnight then went to bed. Oh how I would love to have the energy that he has to stay up until midnight.

Tyson singing in the school program

My nephew Daniel.

Chirstmas

Tyson showing off his BYU hoodie.

Tyson loves BYU.

Tyson opening his legos

Connor and his legos.
He didn't feel good the reason from the puke bowl.

Curtis and his Legos

Family Pictures

A couple of weeks ago Jason decided to take a couple of days off. During these days off Jason went rabbit hunting. This is something Jason really enjoys doing. I haven't figured out why yet. On the other day we decided to do pictures. We actually got a family picture done. Yea!!!

So here are the best pictures of the us. They are not the best quality so I might go get the CD so you can see them better. It seems like our lives never slow down.

Curtis and Connor: Let's just say I don't think you will ever meet two little guys that can get into so much trouble in such a little bit of time. What one doesn't think of the other one will. They have learned to love their time out chairs. They love Pre School!!!! They love their teacher Miss Lisa(I love her too). They always know when they have school. They both got haircuts this week. Their haircuts were done by dad. Jason was sick of telling me to call and get them an appointment but I always forgot. So one night after dinner Jason went and got his trimmers and started cutting Curtis' hair.

Curtis before dad got ready to cut his hair

during the hair cut

The finished look.

Connor's turn

during the hair cut

Connor is all done.

They were so excited that dad had cut their hair that they told anybody that would listen. Good Job Jason they boys love their haircuts.

Tyson: Wow this kid is growing!!! He loves school and has tons of friends. He says his favorite part of school is eating school lunch and recess. I think that is typical for a first grader. He has great teacher. He always tells me that Miss Bailey rocks. He loves to read. He always has a book and wants to read. He just started reading chapter books. His favorite series is Jigsaw Jones Mysteries. He also loves to read about animals and dumpy the dump truck(he read those books in Kindergarten and he felt so big because he was the only one reading a real book). He is a funny kid ask our families. While Jason was cutting the twins hair he asked Tyson if he wanted his hair cut too. Tyson looked at Jason and said no I have nice hair and Becca has to cut it. This past week Tyson lost his first tooth. Yay!!! The first day he noticed that it was loose he was so excited and was worried that he would swallow it. A few days later he was at school eating lunch and his tooth came out. He swallowed his first tooth. Needless to say he was sad because he thought the tooth fairy wouldn't come. Everybody told him that the tooth fairy would still come and that she knew that he had lost a tooth. The next morning about 6:15 in the morning he got up to go use the bathroom and he left the bathroom light on. So I got up to go turn it off and Tyson opens the door and yells "Mom, look what the tooth fairy left. ONE DOLLAR!!!" Needless to say we were up very early that day. Here are some pictures of Tyson on the day he lost he first tooth.

Jason: Jason is finally well after being sick for about month. He had to take a couple days off work to stay in bed. He is staying busy working full time for Doug Smith. He has picked up several side jobs to make extra money. If Jason isn't working on cars he is usually found out helping people out or at the gym.

Heather: I spend my days taking care of the house and the boys. Between trying to keep the house clean, keeping up on my laundry, and helping the boys I don't find alot of extra time. I love that I have had a couple of girls nights out. I also got my hair cut and colored.

Well there you have it. Now you know what we have been up too. We hope that all of you have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

They couldn't wait

This morning we woke up to snow on the ground. The twins were really excited when they saw the snow on our deck. They kept telling me that they needed to get their snow shovels and start shoveling. I told them that the snow would melt and that they didn't need to shovel. After everyone was dressed. I started doing Tyson's hair. After I got Tyson's hair done I went to find the twins since it was their turn. I went into the front room, where I assumed they would be, and they weren't there. Then I heard noises coming from the backyard. The twins were in the backyard on the deck shoveling snow. I guess they couldn't wait to get out and start shoveling. Here are some pictures of them shoveling. Curtis has the beanie on and Connor has the ball cap on.

HALLOWEEN NIGHT!!

Halloween seems to get busier and busier as the kids get older. On Tuesday we had our ward Halloween party so the kids got to dress up. Tyson was Captain Jack Sparrow. Connor was Buzz Lightyear. Curtis was a cowboy. He was supposed be Woody but we liked this costume better. If you ask him he was still Woody. On Wednesday the twins had a Halloween party at pre-school so another day of dressing up. Finally Halloween arrived. What a busy day. Tyson had a school costume parade. Then I helped with his class party. Then after school we went to Doug Smith and did their trunk or treat there. We could have stopped there because we got tons of candy. But couldn't. Next it was to time to go trick or treating. We went to all the Grandma's and Grandpa's houses. I was grateful when we were done. We went home and went to bed. Now I just have to make the boys don't eat all their candy at once. I'm glad that the costumes are put away until next year. Hopefully we can have a break before we start getting ready for Christmas.

Our Cowboy Curtis getting ready for pre school. It was really fun. We first started with the hayride. For the hayride they took us around in a circle where they had people dressed up throwing candy into the wagon. After the hayride we went onto the corn maze. We made it through the first phase just fine and then we started the second. Well we got lost on that phase. Somehow we ended up coming out the entrance. The only kid that noticed was Tyson because he read the sign. All the little kids enjoyed the corn maze because we were the only ones in it and Jason would take them ahead of us and go hide. Every time they went to hide to scare us we made a big deal when the called out BOO!! Carter was so excited that he scared me he came up and gave me a hug and then decided to bite me in the bum. Then we went to the huge slide that they had in the courtyard. The boys couldn't get enough they kept wanting to do it over and over. Jason even went down but my camera's batteries died so I didn't get a picture. Then we went to the pig races. When it was the adults turn to catch them Janel, Julianne, and Lindsey(Julianne's friend)decided to go catch them. But there was a catch because it was the Adults. They had to kiss the pigs. I'm grateful that I didn't volunteer to do it. They all kissed their pigs and won a free pass to the nighttime activities. Later that night Jason wanted to go to a haunted house. It had been 8 years since we went to one. So we went with Janel and Trent. I always get scared and have to hold onto Jason. I think that is why Jason likes to go. It was alot a fun.

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5263744045412170226" style="DISPLAY: block; I thought that I would take the boys and go do something fun. I decided to go to pumpkin land. For those of you who don't know what pumpkin land is. It is a nursery in Vineyard that has a little corn maze, some animals and things to play on. I let the boys lead me through the corn maze. They made it out just fine I thought I would be walking around in circles and I would have to help them. Then I let them play. Finally we ended our journey through the spook house(It only has lights that look like halloween things.) We didn't get any pumpkins becuase my dad decided to take all the grandkids to get pumpkins yesterday. I had a great time playing with the boys today. I love them so much. Here are just a some few pictures of our day.

here are the boys making funny halloween faces

Here is Curtis and Connor walking in the cornmaze

Tyson crawling through a tunnel.

We had a wonderful time, we only wish that dad could have came with us.

My birthday

On Monday it was my birthday. I usually don't make a big deal out of it. I had a good birthday. The boys were really good and kept wishing me a happy birthday. They even tried to sing Happy Birthday. I have decided that they got my singing genes instead of their dad's. I was hoping that I would have at least one kid would be able to sing. For dinner my wonderful neighbor Stella brought me dinner so I wouldn't have to cook dinner. But Jason already planned to go out to dinner as a family(so we had the dinner Stella brought on Tuesday. Two days of not cooking dinner, I was so relieved). So we went to Los Hermanos for dinner, yes we go there alot. I had my all time favorite and I didn't share my fried ice cream. The boys were a little sad because I wasn't going to share so Jason bought them one to share. We had a great time. I am really excited for the gift cards to the bookstore that I got. I can't wait!! I also can't wait to go get my toes done with my sister-in-law's.

MY HUSBAND'S OBSESSION

Jason has this obesession with cars and trucks. He loves to fix them(so if any you need your car fix call Jason his rate is cheap). We have had more than 20 cars since we have been married. Jason loves to get older cars and then he fixes them up to sell. This is great it brings in extra money. Sometimes he sees something and has to have it. Well today at work he saw something and he had to have it. So now we own a 2005 dodge 2500 truck. Jason says it is the kind of truck he has always wanted. I do have to admit it is a nice a truck and it will help Jason haul around his tools when he has to fix a car. Like I said in my last post me and jason have dated for ten years. Instead of getting flowers from Jason, Jason got a truck. I know that Jason and the boys will love it becuase they can take off roading. One day Jason says he is buying a jeep so he can go to Moab and do the jeep thing with the boys. We will have to see about that one. I hope that this truck will stick around our house for a very long time.

10 YEARS ALREADY!!

Tomorrow will be ten years since mine and Jasons first date. I can't believe it has been ten years already. I remember the first time I met Jason. Jason had some friends that always got together to go do things. My friend happened to be in the group. She called me one night and asked me what I was doing. Of course I was doing nothing, I just got off work. She said come over to some house and watch a movie. So I went over and we watched some boring movie that I slept through. Jason was there that night but I didn't really get to talk to him. Jason noticed me, he told me later that he heard someone say ask her out. A few nights later this group and me went to get ice cream. Somehow I ended up in Jason's car alone with him. I think it was planned out. After our quick trip to Baskin and Robbins Jason asked our friend to set him up with me. So when she called asked me if I would go out with him. I said sure, I planning on going on a mission so I needed to get in all the fun I could. That night we met at our friends house and headed out for dinner. Jason and I rode in a truck with one Jason's friends. We made small talk all the way to the Cracker Barrell. For dinner I had country fried steak and I think Jason had pork chops. On the way home Jason put his hand on my leg. What was weird was that I wasn't freaking out, I usually did freak out about things like that. So when we got back from dinner he gave me a hug good night and he asked if he could call me in a couple days. I said sure, thinking if he did great and if he didn't great. He called me two days later and we hung out. He called on Sunday(it had been 4 days since our first date)asked if we could go for a drive and talk. I said yes, all I had going was ward prayer. He picked me up and then we started heading towards his house. So I met his family that day. Then we went for a drive(that is when we held hands for the first time) and had a great talk. He asked me what I wanted out of life and what kind of husband I wanted. I told him the things that I wanted and then I told him about my plans of serving a mission. Later after he dropped me off I started to think about weather I should turn in my papers or not. I decided that I wouldn't turn in my papers and see where this went after all I was having a great time and I was strarting to really like Jason. So on Tuesday we went to the park and I told him that I wasn't turning in my papers yet. That night as he walked me to the door he kissed me. Yes that is right not even a week of knowing each other he kissed me. Now I was freaking out. I guess I stopped freaking out becuase we got married on June 17, 1999.

We have been through alot together. We have been through good times and bad times together and we have made it out stronger than ever. I am grateful Jason listened to the spirit and did ask me out. I love Jason more today than I did on the day I fell in love with him. I hope our next ten years will be filled with more good times, laughter and trip to Hawaii without the kids.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON!!

Monday was Jason's birthday. He turned 31, wow he is getting old now. We out to dinner as a family to celebrate and for FHE. We took him Los Hermanos for dinner. The boys think that is the coolest place to go for your birthday because you get free ice cream. Of course Dad shared his ice cream with the boys. Since it had been awhile since me and Jason had a date night I surprised him and got a babysitter for tonight. We ended up eating at Red Lobster because they had their endless shrimp sell going. It was great. We both ate to much. After dinner we decided that we would go to the mall because I needed new bra's. After I found what I needed we walked the mall. Did you know there was a fire in the mall? I guess our life is boring if you think a fire at the mall is actual news. So we had a great time just being together alone without the boys. I love my husband with all my heart. He is my best friend.

5 reasons why I love my husband:

1- He treats me so much better than I treat him.

2- He brings me flowers when I have a bad with boys or if we were fighting.

3- He is a worthy priesthood holder. He never says no when I ask him for a blessing.

4- He looks great bald(he bics his head becuase he is going bald. He always says might as well help it along).

5- I could list a whole lot more but the most important is that he loves me for me and that will never change.

Babe- Thank you for being such a great husband and dad, even though you did talk me into buy a mini-van(J/K). Thank you for working so hard to support the family so I can stay home and take care the boys. You are the love of my life.
Love- Heather

I'M GETTING OLD!!

REASONS WHY I FEEL OLD:

Tyson started first grade last week. How can that be? It seems like yesterday he was just a little baby. Tyson thinks that he is old enough to walk to school by himself this year. I told him that he wasn't that old. I made a deal with him that I would drop him off at the school boundries by the park and he could walk to his classroom. Because I'm not ready to see him grow up I still take him to the outside door and wait for him there after school. It is funny because I used to never be like this with him. Tyson had several devlopmental delays and had to be enrolled in the special education program. When he turned three he had to ride the school bus to preschool. I never worried about him getting it school. He rode the bus for three years before he started at Cascade and now I have to make sure that he gets into school just fine. Tyson no longer has to have the special programs. He worked really hard over the last four years. Tyson we are proud of you and we love you.

Curtis and Connor go to preschool again this year. I'm totally grateful for the break but it makes me realize that in a year they will be in kindergarten. I can remember the days where I thought that I wouldn't make it to this day where they go school. We are grateful that we have them. It is fun to watch them play together and we are grateful that they came together. I will miss having someone with me at home all day.

Last thursday we needed to go Kayla Goodrich's wedding reception. You are probably wondering how a wedding reception can make me feel old. I used to babysit Kayla from the time she was three. I have known Kayla for seventeen years and it doesn't seem like it. Kayla also babysat Tyson when he was a baby. It is hard to believe that the little girl who loved to play outside is married now. I didn't feel old untl I saw pictures of Kayla and me at my wedding, she was one of bridesmaids.

We have the Wii fit to go along with the Wii. I know that I'm getting old because my boys can do the exercises longer than I can. I guess I just have accept it that I'm getting old and enjoy life.

The summer has gone by way to fast

We have done alot of fun things this summer. We actually have pictures of everything and because I'm a slacker and new to this blogging thing I haven't figured it out yet. In June we took our first family vacation. We loaded up the mini van and headed to San Deigo. We took my parents with us because the boys wanted grandpa. We had a great time. We went to Sea World one day. The boys loved it. One morning we had to leave the hotel because it needed to be cleaned. The plan was to go play in the ocean but it was to cool in the morning. So we went to the outlet mall in Carlsbad. I could have stayed there all day. We played in the ocean in the afternoon. We also went to Legoland. Yes, legoland has rides and tons of legos. We all had a blast because everyone could go on almost all the rides. The reason why we went to legoland is because Tyson wanted to go to Disneyland. The more I thought about Disneyland I thought that the twins needed to be older. They always want to do want Tyson is doing and I wasn't going to fight them about not riding rides because they were to small. Tyson did he first official big roller coaster with Jason at legoland. He did great!!! After we were home for a day the boys started to get sick. We were sick for an entire week. Jason took the boys camping one weekend and left me home alone. Jason and the boys had a great time, except Jason got no sleep because the boys woke up every half hour needing to go to the bathroom. While they were camping I went and had a girls night out with Amy and Andrea. It was great to just sit and talk and not worry about what I had to be home. On the 24th of July we had a great ward activity. It was at the park and we had a bike parade, games, and dutch oven lunch. Jason helped the boys with all the games because I was the picture taker. We also set up our waterslide and the boys played with it nonstop for two days. It is the greatest babysitter. August 10th was Tyson's birthday. He wanted a friend birthday party but I didn't. Since his birthday was on Sunday we decided to have a birthday week-end. Friday we went to dinner at Winger's so he could use his birthday postcard. That night Jason and the boys slept outside. We also roasted marshmallows that night. Saturday was breakfast at IHOP, snow shacks from Summer Sno, swimming at the secra pool, and dinner at Los Hermanos. Tyson got his own ice cream and they sang to him. Sunday was his actual birthday. We went to church. The primary sang to him and gave him a coupon to go visit the Bishop for a birthday candy bar. I made his favorite dinner mac and cheese with hot dogs(it is homemade). Jason helped him build legos that he wanted to build. We surprised him with a great birthday present. In years past he would always get new school clothes becuase of his birthday was so close to when school started. This year we decided to do it differently this year. On saturday Jason and I spent about two hours on the phone looking for a Wii. We found one. Tyson loves it. Even though it is not hooked up yet he is excited. Tyson had a great birthday and now school starts Monday.

Our first blog!!!!

Our short but sweet story on how we got to where we are now.
Jason and I met in September of 1998. We got set up on a blind date by friend of ours. I was working at Albertson's and deciding weather or not to serve a mission. Jason was working at Doug Smith Autoplex and trying to figure what to do with his life. After our first date we both knew that something was different. We dated until January, then Jason decided to surprise me with a proposal. We got married June 17, 1999 in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. That was one of the best days of my life. We both decided that we would work full time and rent an apartment for awhile. A little bit after two years of marriage our first son Tyson was born. While Tyson was still a baby we built a house in Orem. I don't suggest having a baby and building a new house all at the same time. When Tyson turned two I decided that I wanted another baby. At our first doctor's appointment we recieved news that changed our lives. We were expecting twins!!!! Curtis and Connor were born on May 24, 2004. Since then our lives have never been boring. We love our boys!!! We know that we are very blessed in many ways. We hope that you will check back and see what is happening with the Hunters.
